Passed all the tests and we haven't had a hiccup running with it. A good RMA for a great price. Since he and I literally had the same laptop (He originally was one up on the BIOS Firmware which I upgraded my machine to the same BIOS firmware level) I went ahead and ordered the same type of RAM for my Laptop, Short of the Story it worked. While the BIOS claimed it only saw 6384MB the OS itself saw the full 16GB.Please be advised before buying:- This will only work on HP Pavilion dv8t-1200 Entertainment Laptop with the I7 Q720 CPU processor installed (He tried it on the same model Laptops running I5 Processors and while the Laptop booted up and worked it only saw 8GB)- As noted above the BIOS will only see 6384MB (Because the BIOS designer gave it a cap of 9999) The OS will see and use the full 16GB (See Picture Below).Overall: Thanks to the bloggers article exploiting the fact that the HP Pavilion dv8t-1200 Entertainment Laptops motherboard could use 16GB of RAM (Vice 8GB according to HP) as long as the I7 Core Q720 processor was installed, I can now run more VMs and has extended me from replacing this for at least a few more years.
