    Small sizeJust got it. Wanted to share photo. installed on small garage door.5FunctionalGood, as simple as that.5Perfect for a new parking systemI used this item as the sensor for a parking system I crafted to allow me to park any of our three cars within 2" of our two garage doors. I wanted to maximize the space in front of the cars to allow more room for cabinet and workbench access, so being able to park just far enough inside to safely close the doors was the objective. The other circuitry and indicator lights aside, the system depends upon reliably determining when a car has cleared the door location, and these work well over that 27' distance.Why four stars vs five? Only because the normally open relay inside the receiver takes a little longer to re-open once the beam is reestablished. The rely closes almost instantaneously when the beam is interrupted; but it takes a noticeable amount of time to open. It's not a huge problem, but it would be nice if the response time was a bit quicker.4Five Starsworked really good for my yard5Too complicatedWorks i guess. But very complicated to figure out ..i gave up5Entry beam for perimiter security.These work well as an entry beam for perimeter security. ( across a deck, porch or driveway)Short distances ( up to 15 feet) are easy to eyeball & align. 25 - 50 feet is hard unless you have good reference point from surrounding building / structure. 50+ feet, you need a unit with laser to align.5Works GREAT!We replaced a set of much more expensive sensors with these and they work GREAT, even better then the high dollar well known brand that Were installed..5I works perfectly.I like this product and would recommend it to any DIY person who wants to protect their property. I used mine as a perimeter alarm system.5
