    Excellent product. We previously used rope lights in our ... Excellent product. We previously used rope lights in our interior soffits but some sections had burned out over time making it look quite unsightly.We experimented with a variety LED lights but found that the color was always too cool looking, even when trying "warm white" which is 2700K.These 2400k LED strips are the closest thing to the color of dimmed halogen bulbs and worked perfectly. They are much brighter than rope lights so we dimmed them using our existing dimmers (Leviton Vizia and Lutron Maestro) which require an expensive magnetic dimming transformer ($78 for a 96watt transformer). That supports roughly 65ft per transformer.This combo provides perfect dimming, similar to halogen or incandescent lights. No LED-specific dimmer required...The result is much better than the old rope lighting ever was due to its even lighting. 5... a couple of weeks now and seems to be fine. Installed for a couple of weeks now and seems to be fine. 5Five Stars very bright, and work well with a cheap 24v transformer. 5all good outstanding-same color light as incandescent bulbs-all worked perfectly and easy to use 5Very warm light much like an incandescent bulb Works as expected. Very warm light much like an incandescent bulb. 5product was used and sold as new ordered 2- 24 v LED strip lights when they arrived they were used , packages were written on and it was obvious they had been installed. the double sided tape protective backing is missing . they are basically unusable. now they want me to pay to return them , WTH ? Not a quality product do not purchase . 1Worked great for a week or so... then... FAIL. Where to start? They aren't 2400k more like 3000k by my eye. But that's not the biggest problem. Segments go 'out' VERY soon after purchase. Tested fine, then cut to lengths needed, installed in the project, tested again, all OK. Did the final installation of the project and a couple weeks later segments started going dark. So now I've got few dark areas in my project where 6 lights in a group no longer work. So not a bargain, or even reliable, basically junk. Now I've got to buy better quality LED strips elsewhere, take the project off the wall and replace a bunch of lights that should have been good for years.... all just a couple weeks after installation. Oh, and this is fun, now and then the segments will light back up again for a few minutes before going dark again. Just poor quality electrical components in these. Back to the tried and true brand I've used hundreds of feet of without a problem! Sad. 1Five Stars Look dynamite and easy to install. 5Nice warm glow at a great price Very nice warm light. Only complaint is the spacing is large so individual lights are seen instead of a diffuse glow. I solved that by using two strips side by side and staggered so that the lights do not line up. Works great. 4Great value!!!! My husband is an electrical contractor and swears by these for under cabinet lighting. 5
