Customer Reviews

I used to have high regard for Klein tools. I purchased this item in May of 2016. It has lasted almost a year. Unfortunately, like the one before it, the zipper has failed. It will no longer stay closed regardless of which side I zip up. 2Awesome bag for any technician to use!! This bag is awesome. Ive been using or about 2 weeks now and I am absolutely impressed. The zippers are very heavy duty and the material seems as though it could last through a tornado. I am an IT Technnician and this bag fits everything that need in it. Its really comfortable to wear as well, even with a lot of tools in it. And you can put a lot of tools in it. The one feature ( believe me, there are many) that really stands out to me is the hard pouch on the front of the bag. I have no problem with putting my actual glasses in there. I feel comfortable knowing they will be safe in there even if my bag falls over. Ive felt many of the hard pouches on bags at Home Deopot and Lowes, but nothing compares to this. Another feature that I like is the hard bottom. It super sturdy and stands up like a champ. I would highly recommend this bag to any technician that needs a good tool backpack. 5Zippers are the weak link but It's still the best bag I've used. After spending several hundred dollars on tool bags, totes, buckets, pouches.......over 20 years as a field service tech, I finally bought a backpack. The drillers wanted to know if it came in a Hello Kitty version. I laughed and said no, but they did have scooby doo. I bought the tradesman pro in orange. (As an ex infantryman I tend to be amused by the idea of camouflage as a fashion statement.) Anyway, I toted this bag every day for a year and a half. carried around 30 pounds of electricians tools including 3 crescents, 2 large channel locks, full set of allen's and star drivers for 880 vfd's. The zippers are plastic and take a lot of abuse. Open, close, open close, maybe a dozen times a day on the main zipper. It started to screw up about a month ago and yesterday it finally failed to the point I had to replace the bag. I'm buying the same bag again. Even with the failing zippers, it's still the best working bag I've used for my needs. For those of you that have a sniper/plumber job, it comes in camo as well. 4This Item Pays For Itself This was a gift for one of my sons who is an electrician and installs security systems for secure facilities. He immediately filled the backpack with his tools and had a big smile on his face for several days. Following the arrival of the backpack, I quizzed my son on its use in the field. He said it kept him organized and reduced time previously spent on the job looking for a specific tool or piece of test equipment. Making the electrician more organized and more efficient in the performance of his job, is labor money saved and company profit increased - e.g., the backpack pays for itself by its jobsite benefits.. Based on my electrician's comments, I would say that this is the perfect backpack for any electricians in your family or in your family business. I give it five stars. 5Zippers don t last. I have had this bag for less than a year, and the main zipper has blown out. The zipper on the smaller orange pouch is messed up as well. Otherwise the set up is good. This bag of mine is now useless. I have paid half the price for bags that have lasted years. 1the zipper now makes a more gradual turn and had a tab that keeps the zipper head in line better. That's a good company I had one of these tool bags for two years, and six months ago the zipper started coming apart. At the bottom, the zipper came to a right angle turn that wore it out over time. With the new one, Klein had fixed the problem, the zipper now makes a more gradual turn and had a tab that keeps the zipper head in line better. That's a good company, takes our feedback and makes improvements. 5Awesome toolbag, even if you're not an electrician. I use this at work more to keep all my tools in once place. I am not an electrician, I work on PC's and network equipment. However, it accommodates the various screwdrivers and pliers I have along picks and brushes very well. I can even fit a rubber mallet and a voltage tester along with small cordless screwdriver/drill with no issues. Very solid and well built. I have not had any issues with the zippers as other reviewers have indicated. Beware if you are smaller and/or not very strong this thing is heavy even when empty. 5Don't buy this one Dont buy this one, I'm still an apprentice electrician and I can barely fit my most important tools I want with me at all times. The opening is just stupid too, you have to completely unzip it to get to tools towards the bottom of the bag, and the front just flops open onto the ground. After 6 months the zippers are getting messed up cause its such a thin bag and I have to cram stuff into it. Basically if you think you want a tool backpack go with another brand. 2I use this as a tackle box for my deep sea fishing gear. I bought this for my salt water tackle. The rubber base does't absorb the odor like my soft sided tackle bag. It seemed like evey time I put my old bag on the boat floor it would come home smelling bad. I can't carry as much gear but at least I can stand the smell. By the way, you can pack a lot gear in this. Also, when you board the boat and both hands are full this is a back pack. You can wear it. It just makes boarding a little easier. 5Actually surprised. There's a lot of room for your everyday tools. I'm able to fit 95% of what I use every day in it. It's super comfortable and the hard bottom is great for when you need to throw it down in damp/wet areas. Don't waste your money on some home depot bag/tool box, get this and save yourself some time. I do have to mention that you'll probably be made fun of on the jobsite and asked 100 times if you're going to school. I usually just tell them my clothes are inside to stay at their mom's house. 5
