    Good wires.I like buying wire from this company. Reason being is because you can get the wire gauge that will work for you. Some of these brand X wires don t even advertise what gauge their wire is. It s the same old story you get what you pay for. These are the only wires I know of that you can get in 18 gauge or even heavier so you can have longer runs without worrying about overloading the wires.5Good price and ultimately worked well. Struggled a little bit to get them to come togetherThis is a simple technique to allow extending your DC plug.I had a little issue getting this to work with my DC plug. Apparently, even a very small difference in the inner or outer diameter of manufacturer represents a struggle getting these parts does come together cleanly.The lamp I was trying to extend though wiring on did not absolutely conform to this device. It was a little bit of a hard push and struggle to get them together. The end result worked. Just be aware, although they all look the same, very small differences make a struggle and getting the adapters to fit4Replaces AC wall wart in RVI've purchased a couple of these to replace AC-to-12V wall converters. They become hard-wired directly to the RV's 12VDC system. Remember to throw in a fuse rated for your connected device. I use a Volt-Ohm meter to double check for + and - wires and match to the pin diagram on the device I'm connecting. (As I recall the wire with the most markings is the center post which is usually the + (but not always) connection. Easy to cut, trim, & splice because of the two-wire cord. The single-wire cords take too much patience & coaxing to separate & isolate the wire-within-a-wire design.5Works as needed!I wanted run this the DC wire from my 60W portable panel that is outside, to small solar generator to charge it up while I can keep an eye on it, or use it. I measured the DC adapter end after plugging it into my panel and it read 21V at 2.5A, so 52.5Watts total, which is right around normal when not optimally angled at noon time. I wasn't sure this was the proper gauge to carry the full potential of the panel but that test shows that it is!So all in all I am happy, only reason i docked them a star is because it came in a cheap zip lock back and messily looped, so I feel it was a return that got sent out as new... But since it works and I need it, ill keep it.4Woked PefectlyI had two wireless cameras outside my house and needed a long cord to supply power. With these I was easily able to run the wire into the attic. I purchased one first, wanting to be sure it would work properly and have the correct connectors. It worked so well I immediately ordered a second one.5Works for several applications Used to relocated solar panel on a solar power security light to a less visible location that also get lots of light all year round. Needs to come in more lengths so installation requires lot of stapling to secure the extra wires. Try hiding 20 extra feet under the eaves! Yeesh! I had to use some creating routing just to use up all the extra wiring. My cameras us POE so I have not tested that application and I am not hooking up the old system just to review this item. Look to other review for that usage. However, it works perfectly with most solar power lights that you may want to relocate and the supplied cable is too short. 4Work best for testing location to put your IR light location ...Theses extension cords for the IR lights are a must if you don't have electrical outlets everywhere! You can by different lengths and even patch them together if you measure distance wrong. Work best for testing location to put your IR light location before you do and electrical work to your home for placement of the lights. With these, I could move them around for weeks rest locations and angles for the lights to best support the night vision cameras I have on my property before I did any expensive and final electrical work. Ultimate cost savor and location and angle test solution!5Great for running thin wire from a router to the wallI ceiling-mounted my Netgear router, and wanted a clean way to run the power from it to the AC adapter. I didn't want to have the adapter just a few feet away from where I mounted the router. This cord let me move the adapter significantly further away than I would had to have before, and it looks clean / works great.5It's a good power adapter cable.No problem was found by the appearance of the cable.However, when you connect the power cord and extension cable, there is a space between the power jack and the extension cable adapter. Therefore, it is recommended to use only indoors. If you are going to extend the power cord outdoors, you will need to apply adequate waterproofing.4I'd buy them againIt's impossible to find these types of cables in local stores. I bought two of these to use with 16ft LED lights purchased from Amazon. You will need a 3.5 mm power extension cable (this one is 5.5 mm). Hanvex makes the 3.5 cable also.This, however, will work as an extension for the Defender DVR unit.3
