Works Great!Comprehensive ST Series USB Cable 2.0 A to B Cable 25 FTOne of my printers is 25 feet away, nothing like hardwired printers compared to wifi ..... Always had problems with Wifi only printers, always seem to not work when I am printing alot of pages.... reset this, turn this off, reinstall this.... Found this cable, inexpensive, works great and no wifi headaches......... Plug and go..... I then share the printers that are hardwired to my main PC on the network.... Seems alot less problems doing that for me.... only downside is main PC has to be on to print if I am using other devices on the network to print from.... 5Works much better than me having to come over and figure out ...Bought this for my mother-in-law. Works much better than me having to come over and figure out why her wireless router won't connect the computer to her printer all the time. Can't beat a direct connection! 5Required a hub to work with MacThis cable is longer than the USB spec allows (16.5 ft), so not all hardware will work.Case in point: Mac Mini USB 3.0 port connected directly to a Yamaha digital piano using this cable did not recognize the device.I added a USB 2.0 hub on the Mac end, and it was recognized. I was running out of ports anyway. 4will not work on printersif you want to put your printer away from the computer, be advised that this type of cable will fail to facilitate signals between the computer and the printer because it is too long. the HP website says 6 feet is the most. Other general discussion websites say 5 Meters at the most (translates to 15 feet). So, save yourself the heartache and headache. My mom had trouble with her printer since May 2018 all because of the cable I bought for her. Sheesh. 1Solid working connection, great price, fast ship. A+++GREAT price, Fast ship (via Prime), and they work just fine.I paired these with a powered USB hub and they are perfect. Finally I can use my printers again, and have space too.No more messing with wireless settings!(wish I could get all of the time wasted on that back).Solid working connection, great price, fast ship. A+++ 5Defective cord/ cheap qualityI ran it through my desk and set it up to use with my Schiit Audio Modi 2 Uber DAC and then i turned it on and every 5 or so seconds it would cause it to crackle. I liked the length of it but it should have not made it crackle like that. I then switched back to the shorter one that I have and it worked fine but I was looking forward to that longer length for a discrete look. O well. I returned it because it was defective. I was also very difficult to plug the USB-B side in. 1So far so good..So far so good... I was happy to be able to find a cable of this length. It's working fine and I've printed text documents and photos.I needed a cable long enough to take a couple of right angle turns in my home office to go from my iMac to my Lexmark printer.I won't bore you with the story of how I was on the phone for 3 hours with Apple, both the first line rep and the extra-smart guy above him. They tried everything in the world to get my iMac to communicate with my Lexmark that has wifi. Had I thought of this work-around of buying the cable and doing it myself, I could have had 3 hours of my life back. The other thing... at first I bought a 16 foot cord from a national office Supply retailer with a local Store nearby. It wasn't long enough so I had to return it anyway. But when I made the purchase at the store, the cable cost $42! I thought, well, I guess it's because the connections are gold plated. Then when it wasn't long enough, I searched for a longer cable on their website first. I didn't find one long enough there, but I did find the exact same 16ft cord (same product #) for $6.50! Wow! What a difference. When I returned that cable to the Store I asked the clerk, 'Any explanation for the price difference?' Not really. "It happens a lot," she said. My conclusion: It pays to shop around. She did say that they will price match... but hey, all the people who don't know that or forget to do it get [taken advantage of]. 5Looks and feels like good quality, not a monster cable or other high end just a good plain cable to suffice.I decided to return my printer and buy a wireless instead of using another cable across my place. I did however get to feel and inspect this wire/cable. It it good quality feel and look and seems more than adequate if my wifi go's down to use as back up. I'm sure it works fine, most seem to have no problems with it and it's the most affordable cable of this size. Shipping was quick just a few days with prime. 4A to B CableI am a teacher and I use this cord to connect my laptop to a smartboard. I had read that USB cables longer than 17' were prone problems, but after a month of using this 25' cable, I have not had any issues. My smartboard works fine with it, and now I am no longer tethered so closely to the thing. 4... some desks around office and some printers are now pretty far away from workers desksMoving some desks around office and some printers are now pretty far away from workers desks. So tried these 25 USB cables and they worked as expected. Used them on Windows 7&10 computers to Dell and HP - B&W and Color Laser Printers. No problems or issues and worked right away. 5
