Very comfortable and logical camera strapI use the camera strap cross body from right shoulder to left hip so I can bring the camera up to my eye comfortably and this provides the safety feature of no one grabbing my camera and running. I could not figure out the strange system of the clamps so I took the clamps off and relocated themin a more logical way. Photographers have asked me where I got the swivel strap and I gave them your name.5Warning to shorter womenI really liked the clever design of this strap, but unfortunately it was too short for me (5'4"). In order to get the camera to sit at my hip (instead of on my thigh), I had to essentially shorten the strap to the full extent, which meant that the padding was off my shoulder and on my chest. The two clips that constrain the sliding motion of the camera interfere with the length adjusting piece of plastic so it was impossible to configure the set-up properly. The strap would probably work well for taller women or men, but I had to return mine.3Best camera strap I've ownedI've been using this camera strap for a few years now, and it's been perfect for how I like to carry and use my camera. I have always hated normal camera straps that hang around the back of your neck -- especially if you have a weighty full-frame camera with serious glass attached. This strap goes over one shoulder, and the soft, stretchy neoprene distributes the weight and doesn't dig in or chafe. I love that the shoulder pad stays in place, while the camera slides easily along the strap from your side to your eye. In other words, the shoulder strap doesn't hang up on your clothes or neck. I have a Canon 6D with a host of lenses; I've felt safe with the strap with all of my lenses, although I generally don't leave on the strap with the 70-200/f2.8 attached -- just because it is so heavy. Also, I appreciate the adjustable anchors and strap length. I've tightened the strap and slung it on my back doing some minor climbing on via ferrata climbing routes, and it's been secure enough not to swing.Indigo Marble has upgraded the design of the strap since I purchased it, with an additional safety tether and a deeper 3/8" recess in the tripod mounting plate attachment, which means you can easily screw in a standard tripod mounting plate to the L-bracket. I'm a big fan of these upgrades. After years of use and perhaps hundres miles of wearing this strap , the stitching on the neoprene strap started to come undone, but it wasn't a structural threat. It was time for me to get a new one!5Great Camera StrapThis Indigo Marble camera strap is a great camera strap to have. I needed to replace my other strap, so I go this and love it. A regular camera strap is a pain in the Tukas, as it gets in the way when photographing sports, and with the Indigo Marble strap, It is over the shoulder, and when you bring your camera up, the strap is out of the way and it is sooooo much easier to work with. Love this strap. Very durable material and very comfortable on your shoulder. Thank you to all at Indigo Marble for making such a great strap.5awesomely comfortablePretty clever strap, I have to say. It feels great, the neoprene--why didn't anyone think of it before? The width of this neoprene is a little bit outside of my aesthetic comfort zone, but well within my desire for comfort with regard to carrying a modern day camera and lens for hours. The design allows the camera to hang without the lens sticking out where it can knock against walls, doors, trees or bushes. And the way it connects to the tripod socket--no more strap in the way when shooting! I just pull it up to my face, the strap is beneath the camera and my hands are free to work the controls. It's genius! The only two things I am not happy about are 1) that the camera can't be placed flat on a table top when the strap is connected because of that bottom connection to the tripod socket. But I think I'd rather keep the easier shooting features and find another way to put my camera on the table. and 2) When the strap is connected to the camera, I can't quickly place it on or take it off a tripod. With older designs, camera straps don't get in the way of tripod mounts, but here, I have to disconnect it from the strap to put it on and take it off of a tripod. The attachment is fairly quick, though so there's not too much time lost, but still...something for the indigo wizards to think about with next year's model.4Major product flaw makes product dangerous to your equipmentUpdate: After regular usage the poor craftsmanship of this product has shown (see photo). 5 weeks of daily use and it's falling apart. In addition to the fatal flaw mentioned below I really can't recommend this product in its current state. really not happy about the damage it caused. Doubt Indigo Marvle will pay to have my lens and camera fixed.Original review:I was enjoying this strap (some issues with sweat build up as it's not at all breathable) until it resulted in the destruction of a $2,300 lens and damage to a $3,500 camera.During a full day of usage (its second full day of use), on our second full day of photography at the very beginning of a multiweek, multi country trip, I was noticing the small "nut" attachment (not the plate) wasn't always very tight. So I kept tightening. I chose this vs the plate due to its more discrete size. That was a mistake. Well after a busy hour of crowds in a popular tourist spot it was just too much for the nut/screw and it had come virtually completely undone, little did I realize. I lifted the strap up and off over my head to remove the camera and my 5D MK IV crashed to the cobble stones. Now I'm traveling with a broken lens which isn't focusing properly (I've yet to fully scope out damage to the camera beyond the obvious stone scratches). The front of the lens is destroyed, as was the lens hood, which adds additional risk to lens damage beyond the focusing issues. I've swapped to the plate and will now be worrying about not just the focus issues but my exposed glass. The damage makes putting a lens cap on impossibleSuffice it to say I am very upset with this product.1A Neck Saver even with my Canon SX50HS.When I ordered this I did alot of research and it came down to this and some answers from others who have purchased it before me..... When the package arrived I was a bit skeptical of the shoulder padding... I thought it was a bit too wide.... Boy was I wrong and what a neck saver this is turning out to be.... I've worn it using the just camera and then added my external flash as well .... I love it as well due to while on vacation it started misting and with the sling I was able to tuck my camera under my sweatshirt until I could get inside.... Yes you can keep the plate attached and also use it with a tripod...Two suggestions.... If you love your camera like I do.... From time to time check and see that the screw is still tightened into the camera base (mine was I've had this now just shy of a week and have not had to readjust it).... Also just for safety and sanity sake I purchased a Joby Camera tether which attaches to the sling and to the camera.... I'm pleased EXTREMELY pleased....5Great Beard Grooming Tool! This is an AWESOME beard trimming/mustache trimming tool. Trimmer has plenty of charge for doing a beard and mustache. I used it up to 30 min and great performance. The manufacturer states at least 45 min charge available. Great accessories to trim by. My beard is like steel brush and trims it no problem. I recommend this product.5Great strap, but if you use a tripod a lot, be awareThis is really a nice shoulder strap, so why did I mark it down two stars? I use a tripod a lot and this does NOT work well with a tripod unless you are willing to remove the bracket off the bottom. Yes there is a hole where you can screw the tripod mount in which works fine as long as you are shooting horizontally, but if you flip the camera over to a vertical angle the contact between the bracket and the bottom of the camera does not have enough friction to keep your camera from rotating downward. I tightened this thing on as tight as I could with my fingers, because I didn't want to take pliers to it, and it still rotated down. Fortunately they send that extra little cord and link along so I carefully hooked it through my regular strap bracket on the camera and hooked it to the new strap and it is better than the original strap when walking because it does hang it to your side instead of bouncing off your stomach. If it wasn't for the rotating problem when on the tripod in vertical position I would have given it five stars.3Disappointed, butDisappointed, I bought a second one after receiving the first one I have had them about a year and I just happen to notice a tear where the strap meets the shoulder pad on the one I use to carry my 7D/70-200 zoom I figured the zoom was to heavy for strap, I then checked my 5D /16-35 zoom and it had the same tear. both were torn on the identical end where the strap was stitch and reinforced about 11/2 inches, the other end was fine and ia stitched and reinforced for about 2 1/2 inches. I imagine if both ends where they meet the shoulder pad were reinforced with 2 1/2 inches it would have been ok.Now having said that I must say I gave these straps a good workout, more so than the average person ever will so if you use this strap for a casual trip on weekends to the local park, trip to Disneyland or on a walk around on a visit to New York City or Washington D.C. you shouldn't have a problem. I found the strap to be comfortable and had no other issues. The manufacturer did contact me and offer to replace the straps and will use my input to improve the strap so those of us that put more wear and tear on our equipment won't have this problem.3
