Customer Reviews

Great for a variety of uses, good pocket options, sturdy Very happy with this. Just what I needed to tame the pile in my 5 gal camper tool bucket. Plenty of pockets, large and small sizes on the outside and larger on the inside. Well thought out spaces for hammer, and bucket handle can be used or down. It has a lidded pocket for smaller items, and I love the hooked strap for holding a roll of tape. Canvas is heavy enough that it feels like it will last for many years, not so stiff that you can't easily get your tools in and out. I might buy another one to keep around the house. I can see all types of uses for this item. Keeper! 5Great accessory for both the professional and DiYer Simple and very effective.I've got a number of DiY projects going on at the house and this item has been indispensable!!! I threw it on an excess 5-gallon bucket stretched it on (nice snug fit) and started filling it up.It's great being able to throw in dang near all the extra little items needed for numerous repairs and carry it from one work site to another. When used in conjunction with my tool belt or tool vest other than the actual bulky power tools needed for the job, all the other ancillary extra tidbits can fit in here and that really makes life easier:-)The material is very durable and the pockets are numerous. My biggest complaint is that the split should have been deeper to allow for more of the bucket boss to slip down over the bucket (thus the reason for 4.5 stars). But as is, it fits rather nicely and during my projects this newly acquired accessory sees daily use.The loops and pockets that line the portion which stays inside the bucket are pretty ingenious too. All-in-all a great all around assistant for carry/holding on to all those items that usually get dragged on and off the work site.Way to go Bucket Boss!!!! 4YES, it DOES fit Lowe s & HD 5 gal bucket - see how It seems several reviewers have had trouble fitting this over a DIY 5 gal bucket. Maybe they slept through geometry class...The Boss bucket will not slip over the standard DIY 5gal bucket, but does fit perfectly if installed as stated below.1) turn Bucket Boss inside out2) insert top INTO bucket3) fold Bucket Boss over sides of bucket4) slip one side of Boss Bucket under bucket handleI ended up buying 3 more, one for each of my commonly used carpentry, electrical, plumbing and gardening tools. Thanks for reading 5I have 5 toolboxes and a giant workbench... but this is my favorite tool holder. UPDATE (with video): FIRST NOTE:... In the video I said "air compressor" instead of compressed air... -_- My bad! Anyway, this is still my favorite "toolbox" I've ever owned... even compared to a $200 I have. I just love that all of the tools I have in here are just out in the open and ready to grab. I think that just about covers it :) Like I said in the video, sometimes I'll take some tools out and replace them with other tools depending on what I'm working on but I think these are my most-used tools.------------------------------------------------OLDER REVIEW------------------------------------------------So as the title says, I have 5 toolboxes (ranging from small to pretty large) and a big workbench... but this simple little thing is my favorite thing for holding tools. Why is it my favorite? Because...1. And this is the biggest one: Nothing is closed away - it's all readily accessible in pockets and the entire thing is always good to go. Really it's just convenience. It's much easier to grab a tool out of a pocket (or the main bucket part than it is to open up and dig through a toolbox.2. TON OF POCKETS! It can hold all my essentials like pliers, screw drivers, saws, hammers, even a drill, extra battery and charger + bits, 8 pockets for pens, pencils or larger drill bits and all kinds of other stuff... JUST in the pockets! Total number of pockets (inside and out) is 25 by my count.3. Lots of loops for holding hammers, long pliers, etc. (I count 6).4. Fits perfectly in a $4.23 (Home Depot) 5 Gallon bucket so of course that means it'll have the handle and a lot of space to fit larger things like saws and stuff.5. I can tell this thing is built to last. Strong material, great stitching, etc. I'm counting on this thing lasting me years.6. Can fit much larger tools than some of my toolboxes (or workbench) can.7. Definitely helped my get my larger tools a lot more organized than they were before. This has quickly become my go-to for traveling with my tools or even just working in my little "workshop." Love this thing and will probably buy another one to straight up replace one of my other toolboxes :) 5A Place for Everything My husband and I are volunteers in local cemeteries doing cleaning and photographing of gravestones. We had a bucket for our tools but they were always getting jumbled up and dirty so I knew that I needed an organizer. We have a rectangular bucket (empty cat litter container) that had about the same circumference and height as a traditional 5 gallon bucket and this fits it perfectly. The inside has some loops which are good for keeping larger things in place, but the outside pockets are what I use most. There are so many pockets in so many sizes that I can fit every single tool, brush and writing utensil I can possible need. There is also a pocket with a velcro'd flap that is perfect for my cell phone. This is made from heavy duty fabric with strong stitching and reinforced upper edges to each pocket. It's held up to a lot of abuse over the several months we've owned it but it still looks like new. This was a great investment for our hobby and so economically priced. 5Great product. Tons of pockets that are very versatile Great product. Tons of pockets that are very versatile. One thing i would change would be making the inside pockets a couple of different sizes. Some of them needed to be slightly larger to fit some hardware organizers. Other than that, I love it. Well worth the money and some. 5Most disorganized man using it quite well-a definite win win If you had any idea how disorganize my construction working husband is-he does everything from tiling to impact windows to drywall to electricity-he has way too many tools to Carrie. He threw a fit when I bought this and I asked him to try it and he loves it. 5Handy. Bought 2. I have enjoyed having this to organize items that we would use in projects around the house. Easy to store small items but pockets don't usually give to pack it full capacity. Very durable. 4Great bargain After throwing out my garden tools for the third time because I would put them in the bucket with the clippings and then empty the bucket forgetting that they were in there this makes a huge difference. I love it the only thing that I would have liked to have seen would be that the pockets would be wider and perhaps deeper but I will use a bungee to keep the taller instruments iin the pockets and I think I'm going to see if I can open the stitching to widen some of the compartments but it's a great idea and it's so well-made 5Great for the remodeler It seems like I had one of these years ago and wasn't that impressed. Well, now I'm working on a whole-house remodel and I ended up with a 5-gallon bucket just full of tools and misc junk. It was getting pretty bad so I ordered this and WOW, what a great item! Solid construction and really functional. I know commercial guys need tool belts to be more mobile but for me, just going room-to-room, this rocks. 5
